Meet the Pastor

Pastor Vincent J. Alexander, III is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Greater Works Deliverance Center Church. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and rededicated his life to Christ on February 25, 2005. In August 2008, he answered the call to ministry.

Coming from a family history marked by substance abuse and criminal activity, Pastor Alexander’s life is a testimony of God’s transforming power. He is passionate about ministering deliverance, breaking generational cycles, and proclaiming the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. Through his preaching, mentorship, and community leadership, he is committed to seeing lives transformed and people drawn closer to God.

Pastor Alexander is also committed to education and leadership. He earned a Practical Nursing license from SUNY Brockport in 2009. Later, feeling led to shift his career path toward education and leadership, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College. He currently serves as a Freshman Academy Administrator at a local charter school.

A devoted father to his two children, Israel and Naomi, Pastor Alexander considers them a great joy and blessing. Above all, his desire is to continually become everything God has called him to be.

His prayer remains, “Lord, increase as I decrease.”
